Really well written article, pretty much hits the nail on the head in every point made. Even if you're not into Esports/competitive play, I think we all want a faster paced close/mid range game again.

One point I disagree with is saying Gears needs an Overhaul. In my opinion, Gears just needs to go back to its roots, and stop worrying about selling copies, and start focusing on just making a great game.

And Wall canceling I think is actually a good thing. Makes movement more spontaneous, which means players have to react quickly rather then pre-aim to where someone is wall bouncing.

What do you guys think?
